The eminent Highland historian and land reform activist, Professor Jim Hunter, will this evening (Friday 9th March) be awarded honorary life membership of the Scottish Crofting Federation – an organisation he helped to form and of which he was the first director.
The presentation will be made by SCF chair Derek Flyn during the organisation’s annual gathering which is being held in Strathpeffer.
