HRH-The Lord of the Isles – 06: His Royal Highness, The Lord of the Isles cut a special cake celebrating the 125th birthday of An Comunn Gàidhealach, organisers of the Royal National Mòd, with President of the organisation, John Macleod, as he visited this year’s event in the Western Isles. HRH-The Lord of the Isles – 11: His Royal Highness, The Lord of the Isles visited this year’s Royal National Mòd in the Western Isles. During his visit, His Royal Highness was accompanied by President of An Comunn Gàidhealach, John Macleod. He met with with several competitors, performers, volunteers and staff of An Comunn Gàidhealach, organisers of the Royal National Mòd. In the coveted Traditional Silver Medal competitions at the Royal National Mòd in the Western Isles today, the girls medal was won by Màiri Callan (15) of the High School of Glasgow, with Eòin Cuimeanach (13) of Gairloch High School winning the boys award.
