The Stornoway RNLI family are inviting all to come and enjoy the Lifeboat Stations annual Open Day on Saturday, July 18th (HebCelt Saturday).
Last year over 700 people visited the RNLI lifeboat and station, raising over £3,000 for the Stornoway station, and it’s hoped that many more will come this year.
The Open Day will begin at 12noon at Stornoway RNLI Station on Cromwell Street with teas, coffees and homebaking, as well as games and stalls, live music from Rock Island Line, bouncy castle and raffle.
Stornoway RNLI will be pitting their might against the other Emergency Services in the annual Tug of War; and visitors are also invited to take a tour of the ‘Tom Sanderson’ lifeboat and station.
