The Scottish Government has contracted with Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar to manage the delivery of the YES Fund for young employees in the public, private and voluntary sectors across the Outer Hebrides. This contract has now been extended to new starts up to and including 30 June 2015.
YES is targeted at 16 to 29 year old employees (including Modern Apprentices) providing financial support for 50% of the National Minimum Wage applicable to the employee’s status and/or age. Funding will be for a maximum of 26 weeks.
