Death of 54 year old man in Stornoway

POLICE are investigating the death of a 54 year-old male in Stornoway.

The man was found behind a block of flats in the Bayhead area of Stornoway this afternoon, around 14:00hrs 10 January 2013.

The death is currently unexplained and a post mortem will be carried out.

A report will be made to the Procurator Fiscal.

Next of kin have been informed.
