 Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP, Angus Brendan MacNeil has contacted mobile operators Vodafone and O2 following complaints from constituents in the Outer Hebrides.  There have been a number of reports of mobile signal failure on the Isle of Lewis, Isle of South Uist and Isle of Barra.
Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP, Angus Brendan MacNeil has contacted mobile operators Vodafone and O2 following complaints from constituents in the Outer Hebrides.  There have been a number of reports of mobile signal failure on the Isle of Lewis, Isle of South Uist and Isle of Barra.
Angus MacNeil said:
“I have received reports of disruption to the Vodafone signal in Stornoway, South Uist and Barra and to the O2 signal on the West Side of Lewis.
“This is obviously frustrating for customers, particularly those who are self employed and depend on their mobile to conduct their day-to-day business.
“I have contacted both Vodafone and O2, to make them aware of the situation and to ask that they resolve this problem.”
