The Great War and a rural Lewis community

Comunn Eachdraidh Nis will be the venue this Saturday, 6th December, for the launch of a major new book jointly published by Acair and the Comunn Eachdraidh.
The Going Down of the Sun, Dol Fodha na Grèine, commemorates the Great War and the impact it had on the lives of the communities from Baile an Truiseal to Sgiogarstaidh. A related exhibition will open on Saturday for preview at 2pm with the formal launch at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
