A tiny infant experiencing breathing difficulties was airlifted from the Isle of Rum to Western Isles Hospital in the early hours of this morning.
The baby boy and his mother were transported by Stornoway Coastguard helicopter to the nearest hospital for treatment, no further information is available about his condition.
